Giorgio's Brides: Vendor Insurance

Hi ladies,

Does anyone know what the deal is with vendor insurance for Giorgio's? Which vendors need it? (E.g, do limo companies?) Do these vendors (non-house vendors, that is) have to provide us or Giorgio's with paperwork?

Thanks!

I didn't get married there but I'm sure it is the same as the East Wind. Everyone that you are using that will be at the RH needs to have insurance or there is something else they sign. I found that it wasn't anything you really needed to worry about...the catering hall takes care of it. Here is something that my string quartet told me when I asked if they had insurance:

In regards to insurance, we all have individual insurance on ourselves and our expensive instruments. You and the venue are both NOT
responsible if anything should happen to us. In the past, many
venues have an 'insurance waiver' that outside vendors sign. I would happy to sign it, if that is a rule for the East Wind. I know the Botanical Gardens in Bronx and brooklyn both require it, but East Wind might not.

Hi!

I will be getting married at Giorgios in Feb ...

Giorgio's require that any vendor you bring on the property have at least $1,000,000 in insurance.

Most vendors with experience are properly insured so you have nothing to worry about. When you sign a contract with your vendor just ask if they can provide proof of insurance .... if they say yes you're fine ... if they tip toe around be careful!!

FM me if you have any questions!

forgot to say, the proof of insurance will have to be shown to giorgio's.
