Giorgio's! Cakes?

Giorgio's! Cakes?

I haven't even really thought about this yet bc it's included... but they use Rolling Pin bakery, right?

What is included? What flavors can you choose from? And I assume buttercream is included, and fondant is extra? Is there any sort of design on the included cakes? I don't need anything crazy, our florist is going to dress it up with fresh flowers and our snazzy cake topper anyway, but I am wondering mostly about flavors....

you shouldn't have to pay extra for buttercream

oops that wasn't clear, I fixed it. I meant I assumed buttercream is included and fondant would be extra, which is fine, I don't like the taste of fondant anyway

the venetian uses rolling pin bakery as well...
they use buttercream on all the wedding cakes, i would assume fondant is extra.
some times certain designs are extra...
and they type of fillings can be extra too
they say they can make pretty much anything the design we had picked out he said would cause it to be an upgrade, but he said they can change it around a little to keep it in budget.

we asked to try chocolate cake, with caramel and white chocolate mousse filling they were going to charge $55 extra if we picked that (im guessing for the caramel)

we actually are getting vanilla cake with ameretto flavored mousse filling! itsss soo yum!! that wasnt on the list as a flavor but came up with it and they made it

Hi, I'm a Giorgio's bride and just picked out my cake. Here's what I can tell you.

Giorgio's deals with LaBonne Boulangerie in Port Jeff. The cake that is included at no additional charge to you would be something that is buttercream, a 3 or 4 stacked tiers and ALL white. If you want color, it's an upgrade.

FH wanted half strawberry, half cannoli filling. The cannoli filling is an upgrade.

I suggest you ask Giorgio's whatever questions you may have. They may tell you to make an appt. with Corey from the bakery. Super nice guy btw. He explained everything to me.

Oh, and yes, fondant is an upgrade.

For our cake it will be 4 tiers (bottom 2 stacked, top 2 separated with columns), yellow cake- half strawberry, half cannoli, buttercream with a thin layer of white ganache and gumpaste flowers in our wedding colors cascading down. I thought the final cost was a bit high (but then again, I thought something that I just described would be all included)...
