Giorgio's Girls...Which Hotel are you booking with?

Hey ladies! Would like to get some opinions on hotels...going to make the save the dates in early August so I can send them out for the year mark. To all of you who are getting married out there or already did my question is (well a couple parts)
*Who are you doing your block of rooms with?
*How is your experience wit them?

Maybe we can start a private FM conversation about this...FH and I were out there this wknd and I'd love to chat wtih some of you about our experience checking out the hotels and where we stayed this wknd...

I blocked with the holiday inn but the hilton was not giving quotes yet, they only do it within a year. I plan on checking back again this summer.

I'm booked with Holiday Inn mainly because of the price. Summer weddings are expensive, as are the hotels out east. Feel free to FM me for quotes.

I've had nothing but good experiences with them thus far!

I booked with the Holiday Inn as well. I thought the prices were reasonable and definitely less expensive than the Hilton. The thing that sold me on the Holiday Inn was the free shuttle service to and from Giorgio's for the guests staying at the hotel. The Hilton charges 500 dollars for their shuttle service but the Holiday Inn's is free for whoever books in your block of rooms. If you want more info let me know.

i booked with the Holiday inn Express mainly because their prices were the most reasonable. I felt the hilton and hotel indigo were more expensive. Also the Holiday Inn offeres a free 14personn shuttle bus with every block of 20 rooms you book with them.

Hilton is now offering a shuttle services - for a lower fee - as per George Jr.

Yup..if you go with Hilton and you book 15 rooms, 2 shuttles are free then if you want an extra they told me it's $175
Seems like most people are going with Holiday Inn which is good to hear because that's what I was leaning towards.

Went with Holiday Inn Express...$159 a night for rooms....They also said that for Giorgio's Brides they will transport all guests to/from for free....for any other venue they limit you to 1 or 2 shuttles, but for us they are gonna be getting a Coach Bus and another shuttle as we have 75 guests staying

I am getting married at East Wind and my block is with Hilton. They gave me the same quote as HOliday Inn. Holiday Inn wanted to me to deposit like 10-20% (I forget the exact amount) and it would have been like almost 1000 dollars. I believe they wanted the deposit because it's East Wind and a lot of people just stay there so the don't have to drive.

My experience with Hilton is great! The hotel was clean, and like I said they gave me the same price as holiday inn. (Saturday night summers out East = expensive hotels)

Hotel Indigo was great on the phone and were probably the most helpful, they were just the most expensive.
