Hi Everyone, My sister is getting married at Giorgios. Shes been calling the recommended hotels and the lowest she has been quoted is $209 per night. We think this is a little excessive...has anyone gotten better rates or know of hotels possibly a little further from the venue that may be more reasonable? Thanks!

that's the lowest i was quoted too at Indigo, but still decided to do rooms there b/c it's the nicest of all of them. When is she getting married? i'm the fall, so it's super expensive out there b/c of wine tasting

That's the going rate... She can look at hotels further west - exit 62 I believe - for cheaper rates.

there will be a new hotel opening in Riverhead this summer next to the acquarium. it's going to be a hyatt

i am booked at the hilton garden inn $199 for august. i was quoted $199 at the holiday inn express and $229 at the indigo.
my hotel block is full and they have no more rooms to give me. so i'm also looking for a backup hotel. the other two hotels are booked up for my date.
