Giorgios - my RANT!!!
Just wanted to share my complete anger with you all. My customized guestbook that we did through shutterfly was not returned to me by my hall Giorgio's. They claim it was packed up, yet I have no pens, box or book. But it's my fault some how and I never even got an apology. Not to mention I've called for 2 weeks speaking to George Jr. and Suzanne and they never returned my calls until today. This item is priceless and they can't even apologize.
My customized water bottles were not handed out at the end of the night. Jaime their M'D is now telling me it's my fault since my family was taking pictures in they lobby they forgot. How is that my fault? Now we are getting calls that we have to come pick them up immediately because they don't want to be responsible. They say that their coat closet is open to the public, so they aren't responsible for what is missing. How could a Coat closet on private property not be their responsisbility? Why store bride's items there if it is not safe?[/ Well if they had handed them out...they wouldn't still be sitting there. Had they returned any of my numerous phone calls, we would have picked them up ealier. Now this weekend I have a wedding and I have on tape a nasty phone message from George Jr. saying to get our stuff. I'm saving this message!
My fan programs and my tear packs were not properly displayed either. They were put in the bar near the cocktail hour and not by the aisle per my instructions. Jaime claims my bridesmaid told them to put them somewhere else...I honestly can't believe my bridesmaid would instruct them to put them FAR away from my ceremony site.
My aisle runner is missing. A worker from Giorigo's called me the next day to say she was putting it with my water bottles that they never handed out. Today I again, since I don't want to run out there more than once to pick EVERYTHING UP and they say it is not there. BS - I know this person and she definitely put it there.
Was the food and atmosphere great - yes it was beautiful. Only one server was rude and it was to my bridal party. Otherwise...nothing but complements.
My advice for future brides - GET A DOC because Giorgio's can't handle the little things or go into knowing that you need to SIT on them regarding the details.
