Giorgio's tastings

Giorgio's tastings

Giorgio's brides - when are you going for your formal tastings? I got an email from Rob and he said that they are having one at the end of September. Our wedding isn't until May 2012, did anyone go this early? Is this something you go to with just your fiance or parents as well?

Re: Giorgio's tastings

I went for a tasting at Giorgio's back in the fall and I'm not getting married there until July of 2012. I went with my fiance and both sets of parents. We wanted to make sure we liked the food at Giorgio's...because if we didn't, we would still have time to find a different venue. Luckly, that didn't happen because we LOVED the food! Everything was delicious! I don't like salmon or eggplant but I was surprised to find that I loved their salmon and eggplant dishes lol. The tasting was for free, we just left them a nice tip. There is a showcase at Giorgio's on Sunday, October 30th. I believe that it starts at 2pm. Brides and grooms go for free and other guests pay $20. This is another chance to taste their food...the cocktail hour food. Enjoy the tasting!

FH and I are definitely going to the showcase on the 30th, I can't wait to see the CH set up and taste some of the food.

Edited so I don't confuse anyone!

I am pretty sure they offer tastings on the last Thursday of every month.

If you want to do it sooner than later I would call them to set it up...we did ours already

Re: Giorgio's tastings

I did my tasting with my mom because we didn't think FH would be able to get there together. Now that I'm not overseas anymore I want to see if I can get him in.

I was really disappointed that it could only be two people. Both my parents wanted to come as they're the ones paying for it, we even offered to pay a fee to have 2 extra people and they said no :(

Regardless... the food was amazing and the service was wonderful and I know that we'll all be very very happy there!

I am confused....why were some people allowed to bring parents and others were told only two people? We haven't gone yet, we were waiting until it got a little closer, but was hoping to bring our parents.

I'm not sure...I was told it's just for the bride and groom though OR 2 people if one of you can't make it.
