I thought it was great...very well done

I also picked up another book by her (in Spain I needed a book desperately and they didn't have much of a selection, so since I liked the girl with pearl earring...) Falling Angels..it was horrible...

LOVED Girl with Pearl Earring!!!

You should also pick up Girl in Hyacinth Blue. Similar story in a way.....

I too heard the Falling Angel one was awful.

Loved Girl with Pearl Earring, didn't love Girl in Hyacinth Blue. It got better towards the end but I felt the stories of the painting didn't flow together well.

Its a quick read...

Its a made up story behind a Vermeer painting...

It takes place in 17th Century Holland in the town that Vermeer lived, and it follows the events of the painting...and how the painting came to be.

It follows the life of the girl in the painting

I love vermeer! I read both those books. I am starting to read 'The Virgin Blue' by Tracy Chevalier. I'll let you know how it is.
