Girlies..who is doing sand ceremony!!!

where did u get ur sand..and those vases??

and if u can..can u post pics of it...!!! i wana see what colors i should use!

Im doing the sand ceremony and have been doing alot of research online. as for colors we are just using our favorite colors

You can find them on a ton of websites but they were pricey... so i got it on ebay for $60 w/ free personalization

ETA: The only thing I dont like is that the stopper is glass and really just for show... it doesnt actually seal the heart... i might just stick a cork in it to seal it up instead

I got our set from ebay for $30, the seller is glassart234. It is engraved with our names and wedding date. I bought the sand from daisydays.com in dark red and light brown (my colors are burgundy, cocoa and ivory).

Are any of you doing family sand ceremonies? We really want to include our parents since they are a huge part of our wedding and are very close with them

actually, never even considered it b/c all the ones i looked at that included family were discussed as for those who have children... but i think its a great idea! we are actually doing a rose ceremony for the moms so they are included

Thanks! I just looked at their ebay store. They have a nice selection of sand ceremony sets. I think I may order from them.

hmmm, i haven't decided on the vase. i might buys something extra nice for it like a decanter and use a cork to close it. the sand we're using will be from the beach where we're doing the ceremony and some sand we plan to collect in st. thomas (hopefully) when we go this february bc it's where i was born.

i wish i had an easier answer for you
