Re: girls already married- Quick question about how your bouquet was wrapped
I like the same style and when I talked with florists they told me that as long as half to 3/4 of the stem is wrapped, the water will be contained. It's only when you have just a narrow ribbon tied around it that you have the hardest time with the dripping (according to my florist, I don't know anything about flowers on my own!). They said calla lilies (of course my favorite) have the biggest tendency to hold a lot of water in the stems but that wrapping most of the way typically keeps it contained. The one thing they said was just to make sure not to hold it directly against my dress - which is probably good advice anyway because i've heard colored flowers can leave stains! HTH

That's exactly how mine was wrapped and yes, it dripped all over the place. Some of my pictures look a little funny because I was afraid to hold it too close to my dress. Look at how I'm holding my flowers in this picture. I kept holding them from the bottom so that the water wouldn't drip.

Re: girls already married- Quick question about how your bouquet was wrapped
Mine was cascading so it wasn't wrapped - but for my BMs I had them wrapped all the way down. I didn't like the look of the stems showing. Nothing dripped from either Boks

Re: girls already married- Quick question about how your bouquet was wrapped
mine was wrapped all the way to the bottom.... they put a little thing in the bottom with water to keep the flowers looking fresh -- my florist said that because it was a summer wedding, they had to.

Re: girls already married- Quick question about how your bouquet was wrapped
My BoK was wrapped all the way to the bottom. I didn't have any problems and they looked fresh all night, tho it wasn't a very hot day.
Re: girls already married- Quick question about how your bouquet was wrapped
Mine had some of the stems showing at the bottom.
ETA: I had no dripping on the day of my wedding. As long as the florist dries them off before they deliver them, they won't drip.
