If you're attending your cocktail hour do you still make a big entrance when the reception starts?? Don't they usually say ' and for the first time as husband and wife ....' but if we already saw everyone at cocktail hour is that silly?
Every wedding I have been to when brides and grooms attend the cocktail hour still make their big entrance into the hall. I know that's what I plan on doing. I think you should do both. It's your wedding so you Gould enjoy it. Also if you go to he cocktail hour then you can get some greetings over with and then really enjoy the reception still
I will probably only spend the last 15-20 minutes at CH. FH & I want some alone time so we will be in the bridal suite for the first half of CH. Good thing is our hall puts the same food we have for CH in our bridal suite so we aren't missing out! We will still do our big entrance!
We did! Attending it was the best thing we did bc we said our hellos therewhich allowed us to fully enjoy our reception!
I want to go to cocktail hour but I also know if I do I won't be able to actually eat or enjoy it. We will be getting the cocktail hour food in the bridal suite. Plus there's a door that opens to a balcony that over looks the room plus closed circuit tv so I can spy on everyone. So I may just stay up there.

I've seen lots of brides at their CH, and they're always announced into the reception, it never seemed silly. That's the 'official' start to the party.
We plan to attend our CH...we also plan to do a reveal before the ceremony to get in some pics....

We will go to the CH to get a lot of the hellos out of the way. The we will regroup in the bridal suite to res for a few minutes before making our grand entrance!

I don't know if FH & I will make it to the CH but I would LOVE to since we are having SOOOOOO much food. We have to take photos so I think we will miss it but either way if we went or not, we would do our grand entrance.
