Girls Attending their Cocktail Hour
If you're attending your cocktail hour do you still make a big entrance when the reception starts?? Don't they usually say ' and for the first time as husband and wife ....' but if we already saw everyone at cocktail hour is that silly?

Girls Attending their Cocktail Hour
We're attending our cocktail hour, but we still plan on making the big entrance into the reception. I'm not sure if there's 'etiquette' on this, but that's what we want to do lol. I've seen lots of brides at their CH, and they're always announced into the reception, it never seemed silly. That's the 'official' start to the party.

Girls Attending their Cocktail Hour
I'm going to my ch and still making the entrance. I'm not planning to be announced at the ch but I am at the reception. So it's technically the first time I were announced I guessAlso I have seen it done where the bride and groom is at their ch and still gets announced. No one commented on it being silly etc.

Girls Attending their Cocktail Hour
Everytime I've seen a couple at their cocktail hour, they were announced into their reception. I think it's so common that guests would find it strange if the bridal party and couple weren't announced.

I'm going to be attending CH and making a grand entrance at the reception. I've been to a bunch if weddings the past few years and everyone has done this. The only weddings where the bride and groom weren't at CH were people who didn't give themselves enough time to take pictures. It was never to not be seen until the grand entrance. HTH

This.
I am also pretty sure that I might be missing some cocktail hour to take pictures in the reception room. This should only take a few minutes.

I def recommend attending your cocktail hour. You want to enjoy your wedding and have these memories. Don't worry about the entrance it will still be as grand :)

I will be attending my CH. I want to eat all of that food!!! haha I also want to see it all come together. I will be spending some time in my Bridal Suite but not the whole time. CH is always my favorite part...and you best believe it that they will announce FH and I along with my BP at the begining of the reception! HTH

Girls Attending their Cocktail Hour
We are attending our cocktail hour and having a big entrance into the reception. My BM said we hang out at cocktail hour for a while and then they will gather us and the Bridal party & parents and get us prepared for the reception entrance before the guests start heading into the main ballroom.

My FH and I will not be seeing each other before the wedding so we may be missing out on the cocktail hour - at least for the most part of it. Luckily I only have two wonderful friends in my bridal party and my FH has two as well. Hopefully we may be able to get some time at the cocktail party but that is up in the air. = (

We attended the last half an hr of our cocktail and yes we still did the whole entrance thing into reception. You should be fine.
