I know this must of have come up a million times, but I am having trouble deciding on what to do??
I like these but are they plain:

I wanted something different like a cookie for each guest/couple and a tag attached with their table #/letter?? But will a sweet spoil their appetite, lolol. When I am a guest at a wedd, I ABSOLUTLY HATE carrying around the table number thingy. I dont want my guest to have to either. I figured a card they can just stick in their pockets.
Who is doing edible placecards??

This is what I am doing for my placecards for my wedding! Attaching a tag wite people's names onto the stems with raffia.

what about a rose? with a tag with name and table #? you can get roses for soooo cheap!

At first I was going for a garden PC theme bec of my halls gardens, like this, thanks to AMJA, she did an amazing job and she also got married at the same hall, but then again I want that classy elegant approach, to tie into my hall as well , if you girls dont see on that means Ive shot myself

These were my placecards. I can't tell you how many people came up to me and told me how much they loved them.
Where can I get the crystal place cards? I love them--I want something simple but bold. The only ones that I've found that I like besides the dimond place cards are these:
I was told whiteaisle has them, but couldnt find them on there. I wil try to find other sites that carry them. If anyone knows where we can find cystal pc please share. THANKS!!

I just shove the place card in my bag or in FHs pocket. I never saw it as a pain.
If you do cookies, people wont likely eat them then b/c they just came from CH and are saving room for dinner.
They can save it for the next day or something. (or ride home if they didnt overdo it on the VH- haha

I actually also really liked htis one idea that I saw on here that another bride posted of using candle votives. I have attached the picture - I think im going to steal this idea because then it gives the room that soft glow too when they bring them to their seats

Yeah thats nice to show them to the table but yours guests may crowd around the matre d guy and get him all nuts, he will run out and no seats for the guest

There was actually this really cute idea on marthastewart.com where you would buy little pretty envelopes and have their names written on the front really pretty and then put the cards with the numbers inside.
Then - at the last minute if you want to change around the table numbers or move people around you can do it.

And just have a huge bowl of table numbers and have the guests pick out of the bowl!
hahahha that would save me a ton of time in doing the seating arrangements and I would get a kick out of my crazy friends getting stuck with my old great aunt or something

OMGGGGGGGGGG that is effin great , that is really cool. BUTTTTT my fam is going to want to sit with my fam, and friends with friends, etc. What if my young cousin sits with older people , thanks for sharing, Im going to put some thought into this.
Example: Ill switch you a table 5 for a table 3, hahahahah , I dont think this will slide in my fam
