Girls doing a candy bar

For those girls doing a DIY candy bar at your RH, how many different candies are you going to have? And do you have to provide your RH with the jars and tongs? I don't know how much to buy!!

TIA!

saw this on a site:

'Some say 1/4 LB per guest, others say 1/2 LB per guest. But it's all about the way your candy looks. Plan by how you want the display to look, not how many guests are coming. Having enough candy is crucial in making your candy buffet look good. '

so that would be 50 pounds of candy in total...wow

hahaha! that's what they suggested.. and figure 1/4 of a LB is not that much when you go to one of those candy stores... I guess it depends on what you'll be using for the 'take home'...

I am doing a candy buffet. I am doing about 15 types of candy. I will be buying a lot of it online, and the rest I will buy after easter, when they are on sale.
