How are you girls wording your donation favors and how are you displaying them (like on a card or a scroll or something like that)?
havent thought of the wording but i'm attaching a card to a cookie
We are printing up little cards, maybe business card sized. Not sure how we are presenting them yet. My cousin had bookmarks printed with all the info. They were really cute.

i am making some choclates I think and attaching the card to the baggie. Not sure of the wording but on the website where you will donating should have some kind of wording

we're probably going to do scrolls for each place setting
Jess...We're not doing donations, but I saved this forever ago in case someone needed it. Took me a few minutes to find on my computer...hope this helps.

that's a cute idea too, thanks. What do you girls think of the scroll idea? If you've never seen them it's just a piece of paper explaining that instead of a traditional favor you've made a donation in their name, then it's rolled up with a bow around it. Do I need to do a regular favor too?

IMO if you are doing a donation, you don't have to do a regular favor as well.
I think we are going with the scroll. There's a website called the I do foundation that will print them up for you.
no i think i'm just going to get a case of those big costco cookies and wrap one in in a clear back and attach the card with ribbon
we are doing donations and i was thinking ofjust having a small card at each place setting saying that a donation has been made at the charity we choose...more than likely breast cancer and the aspca...i also would like to include a small description of what each of these foundations provides
We donated to St. Judes and they send you scrolls or bookmarks to give out! We chose the bookmarks...
i was at a wedding with donation favors and they attached the scroll to a chocolate bar which was nice it gave each guest a sweet treat too....
I love to bake so I am making truffles (you can make and freeze the ganache ahead of time) and then everyone (couple) will get 2 truffles and the donation card. As an added bonus it will give MOB and MOG something to do since they will be staying with us for a week before wedding. If anyone wants the recipe I can give it to you.

I was just going to write that St. Jude sends you scrolls. they are very nice too!
