yes, we're going to put a little piece of paper rolled up into a scroll on each plate saying something on the lines of 'thank you for coming to our wedding. a donation to ___ has been made in your honor.'
fh an i are donating to hackey fights cancer...we have a bit of a hockey theme going on at the wedding... so we are getting pucks silk screened to say that a donation has been made in their honor to hockey fights cancer.
i am personalizing a letter to each guest that will also act as a place card for each guest that will explain the donation and the charity
I think i'm going to put a framed note on each table.
