any of the bakeries tell you if you were ordering it early that they were going to increas the price 10% incase it becomes more expnesive to make the same cake?

has anyone heard of this? i thought ordering it early would hold my price---- anyone?

that's seems a little off to me. Usually the benefit of ordering something early is so you can lock in prices.

I was told by my RH that the bakery we are using usually doesn't like to meet with the brides until around 3 months before (maybe that's the reason why?).

but why would knowing you have a cake to do in march, make you say, oh well im going to charge you an extra 25$ bc our prices may have to go up
