I have a Priest from a different church marrying us at my church and he is not coming to the rehearsal... is this normal?

My priest will be conducting the rehearsal...that's kind of the point..unless you have someone else from the church that will actually Run the rehearsal?? Who will run the rehearsal if he doesn't come???

our priest did not attend our rehearsal. he was given notes and the program to go through at the wedding. priests have done tons of weddings.

apparently some lady from my church will be there to run us through it... but if the Priest that's doing our wedding is NOT from that same church, wouldn't you think they would do things differently?

our priest that performed out cermony was at the rehearsal we walked us through what was going to happend at the cermony
but he didnt not go to the rd

our priest is doing the rehearsal at the church with us. For my sisters wedding rehearsal the priest was not there, the church secretary did it, but the priest who married them belonged to that church.

Our priest will not be doing our rehearshal either. We sat down with him last week and he walked it through with us so we have a good idea of the way the whole thing will go and the night of the rehearsal a women will just take us all through it. He said that he knows how it goes the rehearsal is for us, not him. The women running it knows excatly how to show us.

Our priest may be there but if he is not it does not matter. Our couple that hosted precana runs the rehersal.

I doubt my priest will be at the rehearsal. I think form what I remember at my friends rehearsal (we are getting married at the same church) they had coordinators run you through it.

a lady that runs rehearsal did the rehearsal. the day of the priest asked fh some things before i got to the church.

Our priest did not do the rehearsal and they told us that generally priests dont do the rehearsal.

and we're inviting him to the dinner after as well as the wedding (but fh's family is close friends with the church).

our priest is driving 4 hours to marry us and he will be there for the rehearsal too the priest doing ceremony should do the rehearsal also
