Is the Priest going to your rehearsal?

I have a Priest from a different church marrying us at my church and he is not coming to the rehearsal... is this normal?

Our priest is FH's uncle so he will be at the RD. I have been in lots of bridal parties and never remember seeing the priest at the dinner.

The priest that married us did not come to the rehearsal... one of the deacons did. It may sound horrible but once we met the deacon, we really wished that he was marrying us and not the priest!
