If you are allowed to have something thrown outside what are you doing? I am so confused I don't want birdseed thrown because im afraid i will be carrying it around all day in my hair and dress.

depends on the church -- mine said nothing thrown outside, no petals inside and no aisle runners. Too many lawsuits i guess

They stained our dresses at my cousin's wedding. No one could really see, but I could. Our dresses were silk.

we are giving bubbles to blow...our church actually said we were able to do anything, which is kinda rare these days...and exactly for the reasons you said, about stuff in your hair and dress, we are going with bubbles...oh and my FSIL had them outside of church and they look great in her pictures

I had my guests ring tiny little bells..my church wouldnt allow anything to be thrown but the bells were so nice to hear and even the guys were ringing them this is a great option instead of throwing anything

maybe rose petals then but then again that is the same with bubbles so it can stain. Rice or bird seed im afraid of getting in my hair. Are there any other options lol?

Too bad you girls are getting married in the spring. My friend was married in December and everyone held up and rang jingle bells. It was so nice.
