Re: Girls getting married at RH...
i am doing readings - it doesn't matter if you have a mass. My cousin got married at her RH, 20 minute ceremony and they still had readings...

Re: Girls getting married at RH...
I am...i'm still having a traditional ceremony, even though I only have 30 minutes for everything. My pastor is going to give a brief message instead of a full out sermon...and my reading is just one verse long.

we're not. we get 30 min for the ceremony, and to be honest, i don't want it to be THAT long! LOL i know that sounds unromantic but it's just not our style.

Re: Girls getting married at RH...
I originally said that I would definitely do them but part of me now is thinking that I don't want to. I guess I will see when the time comes and I sit down with my officiant. If I do them though I want different ones no the ones that a lot of people use like Love is Patient, Love is Kind. I am not very traditional at all. I think thats why I am having a hard time with this.

Re: Girls getting married at RH...
Nope not doing any reading since they only give us a limited amount of time to hold the ceremony (30 minutes). After that time limit it cuts into our CH.

If I hear love is patient love is kind one more time.... yes it's a pretty reading but it's done at every. single. wedding. ever. JMO There are so many readings out there that are just as beautiful and can be more personal to you than just stock wedding readings. FH and I decided that if we do last minute change our minds, the reading will be something from literature, not anything religous. I don't know what you're interests are...but I've heard people do readings from Shakespeare, from lyrics to songs....if you decide to do it, do something that actually reflects the two of you. I think that's the most beautiful way to do it.

Yep, definitely doing a reading or two, for us it's everything like a ceremony in a chuch, minus the church, lol~
