girls getting married at RH...

I'm going back and forth with this so I need some help. My ceremony is at 5 and the champagne pass at 4:30. What time goes on this invites?

TIA!

I would say 4:30 on the invitation since that is the time of the first activity.

I know some brides like to have the invitation say 30 minutes earlier, but I don't like to cater to latecomers. If you're late, you're late.

My ceremony starts @ 1, and on the invitations I am putting 12:30, unfortunately I have to cater to the late comers I just don't want to start with an empty ceremony.

I agree with 4:30. I got married at my RH and hospitality was at 11:00, ceremony at 11:30 and I put 11:00 on my invites. That way if someone is late, they won't walk into your ceremony in the middle of it-they would just miss the hospitality part

I struggled with this too and decided, that I would print the real date. Because I can't control everything. I try, but I can't. And if it's important they will be there on time and if not, not.

Of course, my immediate family was read the riot act on not being late.

my ceremony was at 11:30 I wrote 11:30 and we had guests come early and followed me around while I was taking pictures so I would say the start time of your first event

Ha my FH has already said he's gonna come look for me if I;m late, on our first date I made him wait 30 min before I was ready and he has never let me forget it - you'd think he'd be used to it by now.

I put the time that the champagne starts b/c that's the whole point of that 'hospitality'- to get people to come a half hour early so you can avoid late comers straggling into the ceremony.

It's different at a church b/c if you put an earlier time people just sit but there, but at the hospitality there's beverages and fruit etc so it's less like 'fooled you into hurrying up!!'

Did you have to pay extra for your hospitality or is it included at your RH???? I wanted the champagne but it was alot more $$$ at my RH

i completely agree. I dont show up to weddings 30 mins late and i'm kind of hoping my guests dont either. That and, if i showed up 10-15 mins earlier than the call time and the ceremony didnt start till 30 mins later, i'd be annoyed that i was sitting around for 45 mins. i dont want to do that to my guests that do have the courtesy of being on time.

We didn't pay extra for the champagne pass.
My BM suggested I put 4:30
