I don't think I am ... We have a bridal attendant as well as a Maitre'D ... plus, my BMs are all super helpful, and we are over budget, lol ... I'm just going to have to designate my Mom and the girls for things like, making sure centerpieces are perfect, and setting up candy bar ...

Nope... I honestly don't see the point. My RH has a great bridal attendant and Maitre'd that it'd be silly.

I don't think so. What exactly would you want your DOC to do? I mentioned it to my mom at one point, who said that at all of our previous events the maitre'd handled the vendor-wrangling.
DOC IS handing out tips
lighting candles
laying out flower petals in the aisle.
decorating the aisles with ribbon.
setting up favors
patrolling the sig drink scene and making sure that the tops are rimmed with the gold sugar we bought
setting up the library with our digital frames and photo booth props
giving me back my sanity
controlling momzilla
handling any issues without me knowing
My DOC is aware of flowers I dont want in my centerpieces and she stated that she would have no prob cutting them out before I see them. My DOC is a saint and she has helped me with a great deal of my wedding stress.

YES! She is on FMIL patrol with one of my BMs. That woman will try anything to change my choices- so I feel better knowing my DOC will have my back!

The MD is there to make sure the hall is running smooth. The bridal attendant from what I am told pretty much just makes sure you eat! lol
The DOC - well she does everything else.
1st and foremost... keeps you sane!
She'll be there to put out any fires before I realize anything is even wrong and with that she'll be putting my mind at ease.
As everyone knows, things don't always go 100% as planned and I don't want to deal with ANY OF IT on my wedding day.

Yes I am having two DOC because that's what the package offers. One will be at the hall while I am getting ready making sure a ll the things I wanted delivered are there on time and put out the way I want them to be displayed, in addition to having the aisle runner and cermony decorations prepared before we arrive. The second coordinator will be with me and the girls and my mom as we get ready at the hotel and will keep everything on schedule with hair/ make up and phiotographer. Additionally one of them will move all of my FH things into the bridal suite before we go back to the hotel and my mother's things into her room. Plus collect all the extras we brought to the reception hall with us. I might not have needed them but for only 350 they are giving me a huge peace of mind that I would not have had otherwise.

I got married at the RH and dont know what i would have done without my DOC. She started from in the hotel helping everyone get ready and making sure we were on time. She also did things at the RH that the bridal attendant didnt. The attendant is there for you and only you. the DOC makes sure everything is set up the way you want it and the day flows smoothly. She also makes sure everything is perfect for you. its a must that you have one. You will feel such relief that she is there
