Girls getting married at the RH

so alot of you girls are getting married in a few weeks - are you decorating for the ceremony at your RH? flowers? candles? aisle runner? what type of ceremony are you having? priest? rabbi? minister? religious? non religious?

the town mayor is marying us - but he is a relative so its free and he knows us to make it more personable.

No decor outside of a basket holding my DIY programs decorated with a shamrock table cloth and then a table upfront with our unity candle.

I'm not getting married for awhile, but the ceremony will be at the RH. Very non-religious. Hopefully very quick. I don't really plan on decorating outside too much because the view is really pretty and bc the ceremony will be short, I am not going to go crazy w/ decorating.

I think we r going to have a judge or if not, I think it would be cool if someone we know became an ordained minister and did the ceremony.

My hall decorates the ceremony room.

I'm using Rev. Arpril of Church of Ancient Ways to perform the ceremony. It will be interfaith.

I'm still debating what I'm doing as far as decorations-- they have a few large trees that I'll put at the front of the room instead of the arch and I may fill 2 vases with silver branches to fit in with our theme. I'm not going too crazy with ceremony decorations. We're having a non-religious ceremony with a reverend and we're writing our own vows.

my rh provides the ceremony room fully decorated - so we're not adding anything...

Our RH does the decorations for the ceremony (at a cost, of course). We're using Pastor April, it'll have religious elements, but that's more for our families. Pastor April wrote out ceremony, so we have a good mix of the religious, and what we really want. Not doing an aisle runner, or any of that stuff. If I were getting married in a church, I would.

Our RH also supplies the decorations for my ceremony. We are using Rev. Deb Viola as our officiant.

Your getting married in the evening right? I think a candle lit ceremony would be beautiful...i wanted to do that myself but the hall decorates the room for us so I won't really be able too but if you can I would have all staggered candles lit some in glass hurricane vases, some on pillars i think it would look beautiful...and probably not as expensive as decorating it completely with flowers.

if your ceremony is outside then do you need an aisle runner or will you be walking on the grass? I wasn't sure about this.

we're (weather permitting) getting married outside the RH, having Father Bob Allmen (priest) marry us... I think our ceremony will be somewhat religious but i'm not sure yet.

no decorations except an arch. if it rains, they will bring the arch inside and we'll get married inside under the arch.

that is what i am thinking.....the skylight lets in a ton of light BUT we are getting married at 6 in december and its already dark by that time....so i definitley want LOTS of candles and dim lighting. good idea with some candles on pillars and some in hurricane vases.....is that something you do yourself and give the RH to set up or does the florist do it?

Re: Girls getting married at the RH

we're using pastor april and not doing anything religious....

we're doing a sand ceremony, a hand ceremony and an engagement ring ceremony(this last one isn't really a ceremony, just a line or two)...

We're getting married outside by the lake and they provide the flowers for the alter and 2 aisle baskets. Im not really fond of how that looks so we may change it up. Im also having flower petals down the aisle. Its gonna be very minimal decorations.

My uncleis marrying us. He's a pastor so they ceremony will be religious.

my RH decorates for the ceremony, i'll just add a custom aisle runner.

i'll have an aisle runner (I think the RH provides it). I'm having a Rabbi.
I'm not decorating anything except the tables, just having a Chuppah.

Re: Girls getting married at the RH

Were decorating with our centerpieces down the aisle but that's it. Well only be in their a half hour so I don't wanna spend too much time decorating it. Our ceremony will be non-religious and we still don't know who were using

You know you can probably talk to both your florist and RH and tell them your idea, see which one would like to set it up for you, if they offer, which one of them should. I told my florist i wanted to do staggered vases with floating candles on my sweetheart table and the girls flowers inbetween each vase my florist said they would set that up for me if i provided them with the stuff.
