Are you using the organ player at the church or are you having musicians come in for the music? I'm debating between using the organist or getting like a string quartet for the ceremony.

I'm just using the organ player. That's one less cost I need to incur and the organ player at my church is actually pretty good.

I am using the organist also. I considered hirig someone but I want to conserve money there. Plus my Cousin, my sister, and my other cousin are all having/ had the string quartet before so it isn't like a 'new' thing for the fam to see and enjoy.
If you have the money though and want it, it does add a very nice touch

I am using the organ player...only because we are required to pay for it even if we dont use them . I HATE the organ but it saves money doing on the organ. If I have extra $$ by next year I will def be looking into a trio!!!

Re: Girls getting married in a church
I'm probably going to go with the organ player to conserve money but I've always loved the way a string quartet sounds when walking down the isle. But another thing I'm not sure about is that my church is a HUGE Cathedral church - do you think the sound would be a little lost in there? Between the really high ceilings and the church not even being close to full I don't know how it'll sound.

I am using the organ player my church charges either way. So I figure might as well use what we are paying for.
