Girls getting married in a church

Are you using the organ player at the church or are you having musicians come in for the music? I'm debating between using the organist or getting like a string quartet for the ceremony.

Definitely going with the organ player. Love the traditional sound of the organ as the wedding march is played. It actually sounds pretty good with Canon too.
Any suggestions for a singer???

I'm using the organ player. They're included in the 'church donation' amount - and the amount doesn't change if you DON'T use them. So I'd be paying for them and not using them, plus paying someone else... it seems a little silly money-wise for me to do. Although I do love string quartets!!!

This is quite an issue for me. I really want a harpist.. but they are so expensive. We are probably going to end up using the organist. She is a very nice lady--- but not really what I want. I am hoping to meet with her and tell her how I want soft music.. or maybe I could just play a CD.... part of me would prefer that. I could pay her to run the cd player! So insane.
