Did you have a hard time picking out the reading from the old testament? They all seem so odd to me. Then I find one I like and it's all talk of flesh and bones being ripped out of the body. I never really listened to them before.

i asked the priest what his favorite reading was and went with that. It wasn't that hard for me. I really like the symbolism of the bible

I picked a reading from the book of sirach its about being a happy couple the explanation of it was in the book the priest gave us it was the only one I liked I felt the same as you
