Girls going on a HM with beaches

What are you going to do about your engagement ring and wedding ring??? FH and I am going to Sandals for our honeymoon, so we will be doing a lot of water sports, being on the beach, in the water etc. I'm so worried about losing it during one of these activities, but I don't want to leave it home, and I don't know how I feel about leaving it in a room. Do some rooms have safes???

I think most rooms have safes..so im going to leve it in the room in the safe when im doing water stuff..god forbid it slips off!!!!..So i voted to leave it in the room

I keep looking for a fake engagement ring, to wear at places like the beach and on FH's parents boat.

I put my engagement ring in our hotel room safebox and wear my wedding ring all day. I went swimming, snorkeling ,kayaking, jet ski-ing with it- everything!!

Most rooms will have a safe, but you can request one for your room.

I'm leaving mine behind. I would be beyond crushed if anything happend to my wedding band, esp.considering what happended to my e-ring

I live in Clearwater Florida and I go to Clearwater Beach all the time and go swimming in the ocean and I ALWAYS have my rings on.

I will be wearing mine on my honeymoon.

When FH and I went to Cancun a few months ago, I left my e-ring in our safe when we went to the beach and snorkling. I will probably do the same on our honeymoon.

I take mine off when I shower because it gets slippery so I couldn't imagine doing water sports with it on. I plan on leaving it in the safe.

I will wear the wedding band on the HM and leave the rock at home...don't want to take a chance of losing it.

I have a fake set that I bought at Target. I actually have worn the fake E-ring when FH and I went to Mexico this past summer and I was so happy that I wasn't stressing over losing (or someone stealing) the real one

Im going to Brazil. FHs family is from there and said not to bring any jewlery with me at all. I have to be careful of pick pockets. But where we are going is safer than Rio and Sao Paulo- but we should still be cautious- so Im just not bringing any jewlery. If anything I will buy some fun jewlery in the town while there and wear that.

You should never wear your rings around sand, salt water, or chlorine. It can damage the ring. Not to mention, you do not want to lose it in the ocean. I would recommend putting them in a safe at the hotel rather than leaving them at home. Also, make sure you put them on your homeowner's or renter's insurance policy.

I got engaged at the beach and put my ring in the hotel safe in the box it came in.

I also heard of girls buying cheap fake rings, just to wear on vacation while leaving their valuable jewelry hidden at home.
