Girls going to Sandals St. Lucia Grande!!!

Few quick things on top of my mind

1) Go to the pool bar - there's a guy named Peter that works there (usually there in the mornings from 10am until the afternoon) and order a Peter special - there's a guys and girls version

2) Do the zip lining!!! AMAZING! We did the one during the day and it was soo much fun!

3) Make sure to go to Toscanini's for breakfast - it's their fancy Italian place that you need dinner reservations for, but for breakfast it's opened. Have the french toast. WHOA MAMA!!! Paradise in your mouth, no joke lol

4) Make sure you go to Josephine's for lunch and get their pizza - yum in your tum!

5) For the best burgers - go to Barefoot by the Sea

6) There's a Monday night band that comes in - they'll be in the lobby. Get your butt on the dance floor and DANCE!!! That's the best nightlife you'll get there lol

7) Go to Toscanini's for dinner and make sure to dress up - it's so romantic and omg the steak is to die for

8) Please go to the beach!!! It's absolutely beautiful and so serene!!! In the afternoon go to the pool!

9) If it rains, still go to the beach and the pool especially the hot tub!

10) The ride from the airport to the hotel is about an hour and a half - it's not as bad as most people make it out - plus you get to see people w/ machetti's and coconuts on your way lol

11) Have the most amazing time ever!!! The place is magical, the staff is beyond awesome - we made friends w/ so many of them, the food is AMAZING, and the drinks just keep on coming!!! And no matter what make sure to have fun! It rained the first two days but we still had a blast!!!

The regency has a SICKKK pool and the hotel lobby is amazing - view of the ocean + pool. So pretty! A few people told us 'La Toc' is really good there and we went to Kimono which is a hibatchi place.

Also, girls make sure you make your reservations for the restaurants that need one when you get there - we waited a few days and then it was hard to get in (we still got in because people cancelled).

Alsoooo, the regency had a Bob Marley drink that has the Jamaican colors in it - so freakin' cool!!!

Make sure you go to the Grande for the beach also - it's about a 30-35 minute free shuttle ride

Ohhhh, I have more lol

- For the best late night food, go to the Pub that's by the lobby. Every night we'd have fries after getting drunk LOL. For the husbands that need to watch sports or the news, they air it here also

- They have a resort shop there that you can get things in - i.e. sunscreen, etc. My advice is to buy it before hand. It's pretty expensive - about $20 for a bottle of sun tan lotion. Also, if you burn easily, make sure you apply good lotion - the sun there is killer - we also bought Aloe Vera lotion which helps w/ burns

- A lot of people did the boat tour which takes you to the volcano, mud bath, and local lunch. They had fun - we didn't do it because we just wanted to spend time at the beach

- There's a restaurant called 'The Pier' at Halcyon which is suppose to be realllly pretty and nice. we never made it there (went to Toscanini's again), but a lot of people raved about it

- There's a restaurant called 'Gordon's on the Pier' at Grande --- I THINK it's free for people w/ butler service, but for others it's an extra fee. We got it as complimentary, but in my opinion it's not worth the extra money if it's not included in your package.

- Most of the restaurants will give you a wine list for you to purchase bottles from. we never purchased one, instead we would just get glasses of what we wanted to drink which was included

- If you're doing the spa, you can negotiate w/ them. Not directly in the spa, but by the lobby the spa ladies stand there to get more business. Negotiate there w/ them. We didn't do the spa because I don't like massages but I know a lot of people did and loved it. It's a bit pricey.

- The hot tub and pool are so much freakin fun!!! If you're going to the beach and want one of the covered chairs - have one of you guys go before 9am and put your towels on it - a lot of people do this and if you go after 9am they're usually not avaialable. We'd do this before going for breakfast.

- Bayside is the buffet restaurant for breakfast/lunch and then for dinner they have regular food. It's good because it's always opened but it's not the most popular place (food was decent)

- Tuesday night is CHOCOLATE BUFFET!!! YUM YUM YUM!!!

We booked them when we got there - just try to do it on the first day in case you wanna do it right away.

You're going to have an amazing time!!!

We didn't do it - we just didn't want to spend money on food since we already paid enough to stay there for 10 days that it was adding up to be too much. Some people that we talked to that did it said it was really romantic, and they loveed the food especially the dessert. It's on the beach, so sometimes you have people walking by but not too many. I think doing the romantic dinner is much more worth it than going to Gordon's

hi ladies- hubby and i went to st lucia we stayed at the regency (la toc) and it was a wonderful time!! please make sure you go to dinner at la toc- you need reservations but it is so worth it- go make reservations the minute you get there- you won't regret it. we did the tour to the volcano and mud baths we used son of man tours- they are on the beach and it was amazing we had the best tour guide his name was gabby. we had a good amount of rain but we made a great time of it!!
