Can someone please tell me what are the required sections that I have to chose the readings from? I had the info on my phone but I lost all the data on it!! Ive also been trying to contact my deacon with no success! Any help would be greatly appreciated! TIA

I've been told that the Bishop/Father who will do our Ceremony will sit down with us so we can see which readins i want to do...
im using a booklet with all the readings etc in it from my pre-cana class

yes I have the booklet too ... its just went i met with the pastor, he told me something like choose one from section A,B, C and/or D ... etc ... im just not sure exactly what the requirements are.

Im going off of this too. They had it broken up in sections, Reading 1- Old testament, Reading 2- New

Ohb sorry Julie....
I dont recall the Bishop telling us to choose from A/B/C...
I was checking out my Pre-Cana book too and it has different readings i cn choose from.... but nothing regarding choose this not this...

use the book from your pre cana class. you have to pick the readings from in there anyway

We were told to choose one old testament reading and one new testament reading. The priest chose the Gospel reading and responsorial psalm.

We chose pretty much everything. The book we were given at Pre-Cana had a page in the back of it where you list your selections. We also received a similar sheet from the priest at our meeting to fill out. Here is a run down of what we were told to chose:
- First Reading - Responsorial Pslam - Second Reading - Gospel - The Giving of Consent (Vows) - The Blessing of the Rings - The Bestowal of the Rings - Prayer of the Faithful - Prayer Over the Gifts - Nuptial Blessing - Prayers after Communion - Rite of Conclusion

I'm doing this too along with the paper they gave us to guide us for what reading goes with what.

You have to select one reading from the Old Testament and one from the New Testament

We got the book from our Deacon AND at Pre-Cana!
It basically gives you a form outline and reading selections, and then they divvy them up....so you pick one from A, one from B, etc
