On Kauai: Tidepools at the Grand Hyatt, Keoki's Paradise and Roys are all super-yummy. For a relatively inexpensive lunch, we love Puka Dogs. (Keokis, Roys and Puka Dogs are all in the same shopping center in Poipu). Up in Hanalei, we love Bubba Burgers.

On Maui - there are so many yummy places. Mama's Fishhouse, Leilani's on the beach, Kobe Steak House - way too many to list.

For luaus, we like the Old Lahaina Luau the best. Did the Feast at Lele and didn't really like it. We've done the Old Lahainia Luau twice and loved it both times.

In Maui -- Mama's Fish House, Leilani's, Hula Grill, Roy's

I also recommend the Trilogy snorkle tour to Lanai. So much fun

Bump........

FH & I have been working on our honeymoon so I wanted to share some information that others have passed onto us. I hope it is useful to someone.

the first thing i did was go to Hawaii Activities.com and download the island maps. i found it very helpful to mark off on each map/island which airport we where landing at & where our hotel is. when you download the maps, they each come with a second page which contains information about island transportation & points of interest.

we booked our flights & hotels using Kayak.com (recommended by 2010er, Liz - emc282rjm). i wanted to book in September, but FH wasn't ready yet, so we waited to book until the end of January & by waiting & using that website we saved a lot of money.

we are going to the following islands:

Oahu - 3nights - staying at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort. activities we would like to do are the Honolulu Zoo & Sea Life Park.

Kauai - 3nights - staying at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort. have not looked into activities yet.

The Big Island, Hilo - 5nights - staying at the Hilton Waikoloa Village. activities we would like to do are the Kilauea Caverns of Fire, Mauna Kea Summit Adventure, Panaewa Rain forest Zoo, Vavoom Volcano Tour, & The Island Breeze Luau.

if anyone would like any additional/more specific information just FM me.
