there are 2 things that annoy me about the whole thing. one is that this poor girl who didn't want to post pics ended up posting them b/c she enjoys posting on this board and didn't want to be hated. and the other thing that is really annoying is that the newlyweds were making nasty comments to some of the 08 girls to get off their board, saying we weren't 'allowed' to post there. a few of them are posting on this thread and i would never tell them to 'get out' like a few were saying. that really annoys me. there are no rules, why can't anyone post where they want?

DITTO - i don't get it ....is this a wedding site to share ideas about weddings....I don't understand the emotional attachment to a wedding website where yoiu could serioulsy be angry at someone for what they post on a website.... lighten up people....
there are some obnoxious responses toward the end of that thread AFTER the girl proved she was in fact a real bride.
if those are the kinds of comments made on the newlyweds board, i think i'll skip that step and move straight on over to LIF once i'm married.
Was just gonna say the same thing! I have NO problems with anyone on here....why would I? It's a WEDDING website...people have opinions. Get over it! If someone says something rude and uncalled for LOG OFF and move on with your life knowing this person has no effect on your well-being. I will not be on this site NOR LIF after Nov. because the same people are on both and I don't have anything in common with a majority of these people. Not all but most....
HOWEVER...I will be putting up a review...they were very useful to me so I will pay it forward.
Oh man, I was, as you can tell, watching from the very beginning and it really was light hearted at first and no one was being rude I thought, but then once I saw she was real, I looked back at it and thought....ouch, that was ugly. Admittedly, I really thought it was a sick person who was pretending to be a bride and vying for attention....I even tried to get him or her to come out and admit the truth so we could help him or her. Then I tried to explain her privacy due to her culture....but that didnt work either. But now that I see that wasnt the case i feel bad some of them attacked her and I just sat back and watched the drama, poor girl.
I have to say though, just in general , she seems like a very introverted, not so friendly girl on the boards, just kind of blah....although that TOTALLY could be the impression im getting only b/c she was being attacked. I hope in person shes more open, happy, talkative....but who knows.

i know, i read your posts and i realize that you felt bad and apologized. it DID seem strange, the whole thing w her posting someone else's pics so it's understandable why people were getting upset and even maybe feeling a little threatened i guess...but to continue being nasty after the whole thing is ridiculous! they were being nasty to 08ers and some of them were even still being mean to luvable.
i'm glad you were nice and felt bad about the whole thing and that you apologized, that was the right thing to do.

The fact is I've been duped, steamrolled, taken advantage of, etc. etc. by people in REAL LIFE, as well as by people I befriended on the Internet and I never felt the need to behave so spitefully and immaturely. It's a frikken website! Yes, some have made friends on here and, because it's a localized site (unlike MySpace were people are spread out all over the country and world), some have even met in person and attended weddings and become friends outside of cyberspace. But to initiate such a witch hunt and in the end the poor girl did everything you asked her to and you STILL weren't satisfied??? It is and will always be the f*#!ing Internet.

ive been gone all day and like usual missed the drama and im glad this time i did. i caught up on it (i didnt read every single page cuz i have no time and no patience) and can say i am a bit disgusted with this site right now. i think people have been taking it WAAAAAAY too serious.
i guess im just the type to come on here, read posts, maybe post here and there and thats it. i havent gotten too involved with people or too involved with the drama. i dont like it when the ladies team up and gang up on people. this site shouldnt be taken so seriously. what i read today made me look at people so differently. i never thought id say that i may not come back on here after the year is over but thats what im leaning towards.
