The prognosis does not look good after Keith had a second stroke. doctors say it's just a matter of time....as we bask in our pre-wedding or newlywed glow, let's take time to say a prayer for Janet, Keith, their daughter, and their families.

I was thinking about them earlier after I read about it. I just cannot even begin to imagine what she must be going through.

I felt such a deep sadness for Janet when I read about her situation. Lots of & for Janet!!

That is so horrible. I feel so sad for Janet, Keith and their families. I am an RN and I've seen lots of sad stories but a 34 year old to suffer 2 strokes, I just don't get it. It really saddens me to think that he may have had a chance if that second stroke didn't occur. Sometimes even as an adult it is difficult to understand life and our own mortality. My sincere prayers are w/them.

I had a TIA (mini-stroke) last year at 27 yo, but obviously nothing like this. I feel so bad for their daughter, too. I can't even begin to imagine.
My wedding ending late, or not ordering invites yet is nothing compared to these problems. Such a reality check...

I also want to add that I am COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY but the support this website has shown to them...particularly RON and LIZ'S active involvement....to think one of them (if not both) was at the hospital, caring so much for a member of these boards...
This is really and truly and business with a big HEART. I can't say enough about the added respect I now have for you both.
Again, my heart and prayers go out to Janet. I am sure, with all of the great women with professions and connections that can help, we will be able to take some of the pressure off of Janet, if not any of the pain.
I am not sure what I can do from Brooklyn, but I am more that willing to try.

I agree! It is amazing how Rob/Liz came through to be there for her at this hard time in her life. It really shows that there are incredible people in this world who are willing to help someone who is almost a stranger. My heart goes out to Janet and her family and I continue to keep Keith in my thoughts and prayers.

I don't know if you've seen the latest update as 0f 7:30 AM:
3/22 - I was at the hospital till after 11PM last night. Keith went for another cat scan at that time. Will find the results today.

I feel awful for them. I keep checking for updates. I am hoping for the best.
