The prognosis does not look good after Keith had a second stroke. doctors say it's just a matter of time....as we bask in our pre-wedding or newlywed glow, let's take time to say a prayer for Janet, Keith, their daughter, and their families.

Poor Janet. I pray that she and her daughter will be given the strenght to get through such a difficult time. My heart really goes out to them and their family. Its just so awful.

I sent out a check this morning. I could care less that I am unemployed again, she could use the money a hell of a lot more than I can right now. I know I'll be fine, but she won't be for quite some time.

My heart breaks for her and the families. Such a terrible thing. I sent an email out to everyone I know begging them to have a living will or at least to let loved ones know your wishes should something like this happen to them. And I told them to tell everyone close to them they love them. Because anything can happen in the blink of an eye.

I just read LIF and it seems as if Keith's family is in disagreement with Janet about whether or not he should be kept on life support. I hope they are able to resolve this issue. I would hate to see someone go through the agony of watching someone suffer needlessly without hope of recovery. I watched it myself with my father. Mom couldn't let go and he suffered, she suffered and so did us children. This is why it is imperative for all of us to discuss these issues with our spouses and have our wishes expressed legally. Parents need to understand that once their children marry, they are no longer spokespersons for their children as hard as it may be. Nobody wants to lose a child. I hope Janet and Keith BOTH find peace soon. Gd bless them both.
