I did, and taking pictures was relaxed and fun. When you take pictures after the ceremony, either you make all your guests wait which isn't much fun or you get super rushed...

We did - our ceremony and reception were in the same place so we would have missed the cocktail hour and probably part of the reception if we went to take pictures after the ceremony.

I did and absolutely would do it again! When I did wedding coordination, its one of the things that many of the brides I worked with regreted not doing. I never really understood why they would regret it after vehemently being opposed to doing it that way all along - but after having my wedding I totally understand. Missing even 2 minutes of the party is too much.

I am super traditional (don't live with FI yet until the wedding) but I will be seeing him before for the same reasons as sept20yay. He wants to got to the Cocktail hour so he can have his way.......this time

I am having ceremony and reception in the same place, so doing it this way is best.

I saw him before the ceremony. No regrets and I don't see anything wrong with that.
If I would have hd my ceremony at the church with a 2-3 hr gap between the ceremony and cocktail hour I probably wouldn't have seen him before the ceremony.

I did not see him before - we argued about this until the day before - because I wanted to - but he got his way and it was the best decision he made - other than marrying me!!!

we didn't take pictures together before the ceremony, but we had plenty of time after. We didn't miss a minute of our cocktail hour.

We took pics together before the ceremony. For us it worked out great. We wanted to get most of the pictures done so we could enjoy our cocktail hour, which we did.
