Girls, I need hugs....

I am so upset- its my wedding morning, at the rehersal dinner FH was supposed to include in his speech how much I had done for the wedding(BASICALLY EVERYTHING but pick up the tuxes) and he didn't even acknowledge me at all. I know its just emotional exhaustion from everything but I just lost it and went outside and was crying outside o my sister and close girlfriends. I looked like an *** as people keep walking by and wondering why the bride was crying and mad at FH.

The weather is horrible today in NY and our honeymoon to Jamaica is ruined due to hurricane Emily. MY TA is trying to get us in at St. Lucia but it will cost $3600 more- I don't even know where we would get that money so I am waiting for a decent hour to call her to see what we can do.

I feel like all my plans are falling apart and I have no control.

I am just so sad, tired and not even at all excited I am getting married today. I thought after a good nights sleep I would be better but I don't. I don't want to ruin this day for myself- HELP!!!!!

chris -i am so sad that things are not going yr way. try to relax a bit & just let things flow.
The two things we cannot control for our weddings is the weather & Murphy - in all you WILL have wonderful memories.

OMG please dont be upset today!!!! Maybe FH is waiting until the reception to acknowledge all that you have done to plan for this wedding. I am sorry about the hurricane in Jamaica and I really hope you guys can figure something out. If you need ANY help please FM me!!

as for the honeymoon, I would postpone it till November or beginning of December, the prices should be about the same and the weather is much better then...

OH don't be upset. The weather is hard to not be upset about but I am looking outside now and it looks okay. You never know about pictures. Fh should have acknowldged you.. just as mine should have me... but they are men and just don't get it.! Please smile. You will be beautiful and the honeymoon will work itself out.

How long do they expect the hurricane to hit your HM.. could you just go a day or so later?

The best news of all is our honeymoon is back on! The storm shifted once again in the past hour- I know that is my grandpa up there looking out for me.

My friend Flo, who came from CA is headed over from my sister's to give me a massage- knowing that I have such wonderful friends, including you all, is really helping this morning. thanks from the bottom of my heart

I'm so sorry that you're having a rough morning. Everything will be fine. Whatever happens today just don't forget to enjoy the little moments. Try to make the best out of this day. If it rains ask your photographer to take nice romantic shot in the rain with an umbrella.

FIRST you know you are emotionally overloaded. men will be men-my DH never really thanked me-he didn't give the love of his life speech at the dinner-that's just not him. just enjoy the fact everyone-most especially him-are there for you! don't you love being surrounded by everyone you love?!

do not stress today! no stress! that is an order! you have done ALL you can, and you have a DOC and family to take care of you! it is your day! rain, shine, you will have a great day! the look on his face when he sees you will be his thank you. its so exciting! you are looking forward to such a great day.

and my other little advice is to pray, if that is your thing at all, off in room by yourself for a few minutes. kinda zen out and have a moment with the big Guy and just let all you blessings wash over you. let your heart be flooded with thankfulness. you should be thankful for this wedding-so many only dream on finding the love of their life. center and collect yourself and just forget about the HM problems-it will all work out. don't think about that now-think happy wedding its my day and i'm the bride thoughts.

also i had one small glass of white wine before the wedding. i'm not advocating getting sloshed-i hardly drank anything more the rest of the night-but it might help calm you down. AND DEFINITELY EAT! have a muffin or something. being hungry never helps.
