girls i really need a pep talk UPDATED!

SO ... instead of taking a break I went to barrons today and ordered my veil and bought my headpiece!!! so excited and a little remotivated!!!

i am like a debbie downer lately about our wedding. im excited about it- cant wait- cant wait to be married... i just dont feel like planning it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at all!!! i still havent lost any weight which means i dont fit in my dress. which is really making me not want to do anything. i cant find any bridesmaid dresses i like and my bridesmaides are nedver around to help me. i have no maid of honor so i really have noone to help me. i also get so overwhelmed when i have too much to do and decisions to make. i think my brain has shut down... i cant do anything or make any decisions. and planning a wedding and having kids who demand your attention 15 hrs a day is annoying!!!!!

anyone have a pep talk for me... i have to get out of this funk!!

Hey! I can understand the stresses of planning a wedding... so how about you set short term goals for yourself. There are 15-16 full days left in this month, why don't you plan to get ONE BIG CHECK out of the way.. Sometimes it takes one big check to make everything else fall in to place..

as far as help...what about your mom or cousins that have gotten married or know about married life... I've gotten help from so many people that are not in my BP..

I always tell my FH this 'I GOT THIS!!' and although it can be stressful at times, try to make it fun for yourself and your family...

Let us know if there's anything we can help you with..

I don't know if I'll be much help getting you out of it. But I can assure you that you're not alone!! It's been maybe two months since I've done anything major for the wedding (and i too need to get my a$$ workin out!).

But I've taken this time off, and now i feel like getting back into the swing of things. I'm going to go look at BM dresses this weekend with my girls.

I would just take the time off. . .don't even think about all the stresses of the wedding. Enjoy the next couple of weeks just doing what you want!

you need a break! i took one a few months ago after the e-party and literally did nothing wedding related for about 2 months. at the end of my break i was actually motivated and wanted to do the wedding stuff. don't force yourself to keep planning if you're not into it right now- it'll drive you nuts!

i have a feeling most girls on here have gone through the same sort of thing...taking a break will definitely help.

Ok, starters: I know I hate hearing this but I think you need to hear it - YOU HAVE PLENTY OF TIME..... Unless you really want your girls to look PERFECT the bridesmaid dresses, you have a solid couple of months before you have to worry about that. I don't even plan on starting to look with my girls for another month or two. Try to keep in mind the most important part of the day - the person you are marrying. That is all that really matters!!! If life is a lot right now and getting in the way and you can't do EVERYTHING, then DON'T. You have your whole lives together from now on, you can always have an amazing 10 year anniversary party if you can't do everything you want to do now. Get the kiddies invovled too! Make a game out of planning with them, have them give input - they'll feel included (even if you don't go with their choices)... it'll be fun!

The stress of wedding planning is intense! The outcome of it is the BEST!!!! Im sure its even harder with kids, but keep your head up! You are going to get thru it all and its going to be perfect! You still have time to do everything you need to!! and as always we are here to help! Show us some BM dress pics?? Maybe we can help you decide!!

It sounds like you are doing really great! You probably have plenty of time for the little things. Find out from the printers when they need all the decisions made by, find out all deadlines, that way you know how much of a break you can take... AND TAKE IT! Enjoy your time with your kids. Don't let yourself go crazy. If you can't do it right now, put it aside for a few days.... and DEFINITEly get your FH involved.

def set short term goals. take a month off to relax then start. do the most important things to you first , so you get that out of the way. it will all come together eventually! enjoy it!
