Does anyone know the best way to apply to private schools? I looked up a handful of private schools on long island, and none of them had a job section. Thank you!

Your best bet is to look in the Weekend Review in the times. That is where most schools will post outside of the OLAS website. Google to see if there is a similar site for private schools.

thank you. I do look on OLAS and in the times, I just thought going on schools websites and seeing if they've posted anything could be another option. None of the private schools seem to have a job section on their website.

I've interviewed in NYC at a jewish orthodox school (as a health teacher..lol.) It wasn't really private, but not under regular NYC schools...and it was in the times.
Sometimes it's all about who you know when it comes to teaching jobs unfortunatley. I have been a leave or part time the past 4 years..still no tenure track...so I understand!
