FH and I got a quote on the sample we were given (in album) and it was more $$ then he wants to spend.
so now he wants to look into DIY... but honestly, I think it's going to come out to around the same price.
so could you ladies be so kind as to provide some info on paper sites and instructions?

I didn't think it really would. and I know FH and I would just fight over it, that mine aren't as pretty as his... and he'd call me lazy if I didn't do them... I'd rather just avoid the fight and buy simple invites!

I bought some DIY kits at Michaels. They wre $30 a kit with 30 invites in each kit. They were on sale though, I think they're normally $39.99 a kit.
Also, Target has a bunch of really cute ones starting at $19.99.

stampin it up for the paper with the florishes but $$$ and Archivers for embelishments
I love making cards and invites DIY for small events, but they end up being waaay more $$$ than if I just ordered them online.

i used cards and pockets and got my paper and pockets on clearance.
I then used the printer to print the details and then embossed them.
It took forever, but I love them.
They came to about $3 an invite for a pocketfold.. the draft ones are in my album. i have to stop being lazy and post the finished ones

FM me for cost I am not sure what you were quoted. I used paperandmore.com for supplies (pocket folds) and printed at fedex. Pics in my album.
It was definitely a project and FH was not involved.. (i am the artistic one). So not sure if you have all the time to devote etc..

My pocketfolds are coming to around $2-2.50 per invite. They're beautiful!!! I used stuff from paperandmore.com

it really depends on what you want. honestly i wish i could pay someone to do mine for me because after the first 50, i got tired of it. but that's because i don't have any help. every day i just do little by little but the work paid off because i could make them exactly what i wanted..within my budget of course
