girls not yet married

girls not yet married

just a word of advice... make sure to let your vendors know that you have a table for them and where it is (if you have one)
or else they will just sit on the floor right next to your guests...

(i wish I had a picture)

I have no clue where my vendors ate

Re: girls not yet married

we had a small table set up in our room.. some halls put them in other rooms... but DH came up to me at one point and was like...
'did you tell the photog and videog that they have their own table?'
'i mentioned it to her on the phone last week'
well go tell them because they are sprawled out on the floor

and from chatting with other brides, I'm not the only one this happened to.

they sat and put all their things on the floor right next to DH's cousins...

I think usually the Maitre'd takes care of where the vendors eat.

That's a great question. It didn't come up during our meeting!

Woodlands girls, any thoughts?

Edit: The Woodlands provides seating for the vendors. Phew! That could have been bad. Thanks for posting.

Our Matrie'd told us the hall handles this as well....I would think when the vendors are served their food, the waiter or Maitre'd would direct them to the vendors table.

That's nuts that your hall didn't take care of that for you.

my hall didn't do a lot for me...

but yea.. believe it or not.. the photographer and videographer were sitting on the floor against a wall because they didn't know they had their own table.

But dont the vendors usually know that there is a table or someplace for them to eat?

wait? PATKEN did that I used patken in 1995 and they were already established in the wedding trade. I'm sure they do weddings at your venue all the time and know where to sit.

That's just so freaking odd to me.

my photographer wasn't from this state... she didn't do any research on the church, photo loc or the venue.

they were never told.. well I told my photographer when i spoke to her on the phone about having an assistant. I told her I needed to know how many to put at the vendor table.. but on the day of, I guess she didn't remember and she sat on the floor.
