apparently st. lucia does not get hit by many hurricanes. that was one of the reasons why we chose it. but lets not jinx ourselves here. ..

My BFF (also a BM) went to Aruba with her BF like 2 or 3 years ago and there was a hurricane while they were there. They traveled in Sept. it can happen.

you guys should consider buying some vacation insurance so if there is a hurricane, you can cancel and go somewhere else.

Sorry I was wrong it was in October 2008 Hurricane Omar (I just googled it)

I am going to St. Lucia at the end of August... we bought the insurance incase we have to cancel or get relocated to another Sandals. I'm not worried about it.....
