just want to give you all a heads up that they are saying the hurricane season is going to be really bad this year

july 1st is way early for hurricanes anyway

Hurricane season begins like NOW! Starting in June.

but its rare to see hurricanes in june or july

It's also rare for volcanoes to erupt! You never know. Which reminds me I have to buy insurance because I'm nervous about that damn volcano.

My BFF (also a BM) went to Aruba with her BF like 2 or 3 years ago and there was a hurricane while they were there. They traveled in Sept. it can happen.

when i was their for my hm they told me the last time they had one was 5 yrs ago

I feel like they say that every year. . . . I always cruise during hurricane season and I have never had a problem - even when there was a storm.

when we went to Aruba there was a hurricane the day we were leaving. It wasn't affecting Aruba itself but it definitely affected nearby islands which made our plane get delayed 8 hours

glad we picked Aruba then! I was going back and forth on that. I figured hurricane wouldn't be too bad...but Aruba is a safebet..out of the hurricane belt during that time period!

just great. i hope there isnt one the end of sept start of october....

but i do feel like they say this every year, and how do they really know. anyway.

i have to call carnival and see if they have insurance.

ummm not sure what the caps are for??? I was simply letting Aruba girls know it DOES happen and if they can swing vacation insurance it wouldn't be a bad idea to get it.
