I work with her also. All of these news reports are giving mixed information. I don't know what to believe anymore. We just have to pray she is safe and will come home soon!!

Said the husband got caught in so many lies and was at headquarters all day. He was also pos. identified today at the scene in the early hours. Horrible

I don't think there's anyone going around stealing LI woman. There's more to this story that we didn't hear, her and her husband were supposedly having some marital trouble

I know for a fact form my family member he is teh prime suspect and he was already identified at the scene this morning.. I hope she is alive!!!!

I was on My way to work this morning. And the Seaford Oyster bay expressway had at least 30 or more cops on there...They shut it down. Nothing on the news about it..Anyone know if they found her? I pray for her and her family!!!

I heard on the radio that this area was shut down. Hopefully they find some leads

That's what DH said... cops everywhere just searching. He said it was very creepy.
I thought that this woman's DH would have been at the scene bc she called him to help her fix a flat tire . I'm so confused but I pray for her safe return.

2 lanes were shut down to search and hand out fliers about her. it was a pain having to go another way to work!
I hope they find her though. She is a new teacher in my school and there have been news cameras and we are trying to keep it quiet from her students. there has been such a lull over the school the last few days. it's hard to believe it's someone we all know. we just pray for her safe return. unfortunately, none of the info we're all hearing adds up and the husband looks suspicious.

Something about this story is fishy... I'm sure the cops aren't telling us everything either.
1. She texted her DH instead of calling. I would call right away.
2. Did she even call AAA?! If not, why!?
Finding her purse in the woods is not a good sign. I hope there is a happy ending to this but its not looking good
for her safe return.

True, maybe she didn't have it.
I dont know how to change a tire , but even if I did, I wouldnt do it in the pitch dark.

The story keeps changing. And the media sometimes dont have the facts. But I believe the husband to be suspicious also.
#1: sent a text message to her husband at about 6:25 a.m ' have a great day,''
#2: Police also noted that a state Department of Transportation HELP vehicle, which assists motorists with car trouble, left a sticker on the side of Leah Walsh's abandoned car at about 6:30 a.m.
How could she have sent a text at 6:25am and then 5 minutes later the HELP vehicle finds the car abandoned?????
The other thing i find weird is this: #3: Hours later Walsh's father, school bus driver Howard Hirschel, aware that his daughter was missing, found her car
#4:Instead of calling police, however, he phoned the missing woman's husband, William Walsh, and summoned him to the scene and continued on to deliver the children in his bus to their school.
