I dont want to give too much info right now, due to lurkers...

BUT please answer this question for me...

IF you were given a substantial amount of money and a substantial amount of free/discounted things...would you plan your wedding in 4 months??? FOUR MONTHS!

orrrr would you rather spend all the money yourself and do it traditionally over the course of a year/ year and a half??

Four Months! Definitely doable. I had to replan my wedding and we have about that much time. There's plenty of vendors with availability!!!

If you already know the hall and photographer you want, give them a call and see if they are available.

thanks girls!! wow

im worried that because its such short notice, i may not get the photographer and/or RH I want

those are the only 2 things im worried about

flowers, dress, invites etc those are all standards and im not worried about missing the boat on those things

my main fear is the photo and video

and no, in order to get the 'help' i must do it in 4 months

Call photographers and videographers now!!!! Ask what dates they have open for the month you want and RH's give BIG discounts for planning so short. I'd def. do 4 months

I would definately do it in 4 months unless it was for a tv show.- then no way.

Now I am going to ask what I am sure everyone else is thinking...

Hi....I know I am in the minority here but I just want to give you another viewpoint. I planned my wedding in 7 mos and I was stressed from start to finish....I cannot imagine 4 mos Part of the wedding process (the fun part I should say) is letting the excitement build for the big day...and you won't get to do all the fun stuff like taking your time buying your dress and having fun trying on all kinds of dresses, shoes etc....checking out different vendors and really being able to research them; also you will have to pay a rush charge for everything- invites, your and your BP dresses, anything personalized...IMO there is a reason why ppl are usually engaged for about a year before the wedding. So to answer your question...I probably wouldn't do it...it's totally up to you though...!
