..and prayers my way.

I just found out on Friday that an EXTREMELY close family member has been diagnosed with cancer. The good news (hopefully) is that the doctor who found it says its extremely treatable.
We will know more on Wednesday after a specialist is seen.
Anyway, this has thrown me for a loop and I would appreciate any prayers and positivity!

***Well the surgeon couldn't see the tumor. A CT scan is needed nest week and surgery will be right after labor day. He didn't say anything negative so I took this as a good sign. Hopefully the scans will show a small easily operable tumor and no spread. *****************

extremely treatable is a wonderful thing to hear from a doctor because usually they give you the 'worst' case scenario. One of my parents has been battling a rare form of aggressive cancer since 1994....a diagnosis that devastated us. Positive thinking is key . They have come a LONG way with cancer treatment. My donation favor was to the American Cancer Society. My prayers are with you.
