girls registered at BBB....changes in regisrties!

systems are changing for registries as of this week.........
you will now get price paid by the customer when you return something off your registry
. When the registry is scanned and pulled up on the computer it will ring up whatever price was paid!! so if someone used a coupon it will now show and you will get the price THEY paid back.
ALSO NO MORE CASH BACK UNLESS YOU ASK!!!
i am not sure if they are even offering it anymore i think they are trying their best to give store credit back now.......not 100% sure on that tho..

lol, honestly this makes a lot of sense. I'm sure a lot of people took advantage of their return policy, all I want is the amount someone paid. If I was looking to make a quick buck I'd turn some tricks

I just pretty much almost done with the BBB registry- just need a few more things- I still have a couple of gift cards to spend

I totally understand why they're doing that - also I wouldn't blame anyone for using a coupon when they buy a gift (unless it's inexpensive to begin with) but it's kind of weird knowing that someone used the coupon/discount to begin with to buy you something for your wedding.

I disagree - with the prices the way they are today (for everything, gas, food) I don't mind anyone saving themselves a little money, especially since most likely, they will also be giving a wedding gift in the months following a shower. Even if it costs $20 - doesn't the item any less useful, just cost the person less to buy it.

yeah we had a girl make a whole registry of vera wang china .........and return it ALL!!!!!!!!!! she came back 11 times i 1 day to see if we had all the cash yet!! some people just ruin it for everyone!

Thanks for the heads up.. i probably wouldn't ask for cash back..but as long as i can return a double or something we wind up not needing i don't mind so much as long as i can get some kind of credit or exchange i'm happy!!!

there will be NO PROBLEMS with returns!! you can still return anything at anytime for any reason!

I honestly think its perfectly fair.
And I don't think its odd to know someone used a coupon. I think its insane for anyone not to use a coupon at BBB! In fact, we factored in the 20% off coupon when we were wondering if some gifts were too expensive.
