did you do a reception card?

i know my invitations are in production as we speak, but i just saw jetta's invitations (so nice!) and now i'm feeling like i should have done one to mention the fact that my ceremony and cocktail hour are outside so they can bring a jacket/sweater if it gets chilly.

i didn't... I just put reception immediately following


plus your guests should have the common sense to know that if you are getting married at the RH - the reception is always right after.

i'm hoping they know that, but i'm more concerned about people bringing a jacket/sweater if it gets chilly.

i was thinking of doing in the OOT bag, but not everyone is going to be staying at the hotel.

the other option is to add an insert card to my invitations, but then she'd have to reformat the other cards so everything fits into the pocketfold.

I am also having my ceremony outside, weather permitting...I've been going back and forth about purchasing pashmina shawls and having a bridal attendant hand them out as the guests are escorted to their seats. I really dont want to pay more than1-2 dollars a shawl though, which I found on ebay, but the shipping cost is outrageous.

Only other option is to head down to canal street and see if I can make a deal, lol, but I honestly dont want to go through all the trouble...

I just put reception immediately following at the bottom of my invitation. If you have a wedding website, you can always mention that cocktail hour will be outside on there.
