did you practice dancing with your FH or DH around the house? I've been on his case about this for weeks.. and he keeps ignoring me.
I refuse to go out on the dance floor and 'prom dance'
its just NOT ME... I'm a dance teacher for godsake! I told him that if he doesn't practice with me, then I'M LEADING!!! i'll make it look like he's leading, but I WILL BE IN THE LEAD!

we didn't get a chance to take dance lessons, but we did try to practice around the house.

so fH called be just before i left work... and he's like 'whats up?' i told him i'm just having a bad day... everything is upsetting me.
and i'm stressed.
ends up, he made nicer programs (thanks roz, i sent him yours and he made something similar but with pears- but i ahven't seen it yet)
and i'm like 'AND YOU WONT DANCE WITH ME!!!!'
he was like 'fine.. i'll put it in my phone now- DANCE with megan tonight'
i was like... 'gee thanks'
he's like 'you know, we gotta practice swaying back and forth'

I used to be a dancer so I choreographed our little routine! It was really just some waltz steps, the foxtrot, and a little box action but if you are a dancer you would probably do it yourself and teach your FH!

Hahahaha yea right! 8 days to go and he won't even practice our first kiss! he keeps giving me a peck, he thinks he's funny. I think he's a prude! Where's adam sandler? I need to practice my 'church tongue'

we didtnt take dance lessons we practiced once in the house and did ok but the wedding dance was a disaster (I cant dance and i felt he was moving too fast lol)

I tried to get him to. He wouldn't so we just swayed like whatever... it was great though. It was 'our' moment and I don't regret not taking lessons or practicing. For us it was the convo we were having during the dance that made it special not the actual steps

we took lessons, and then i choreographed something....he knew the moves, but it couldnt remember the order AT ALL and really didnt bother to 'study'...so during the dance, instead of whispering sweet nothings, i was whispering what the next steps were.
but it all worked out, and im happy with it!

we took one lesson and absolutely hated it. since then, we've practiced a bit, but i'm pretty much planning on rocking out the HS prom dance. oh well - it's only a few minutes, and i'm sure i probably won't even realize what else is going on!
