Girls that got there dresses.....was it what you though u would wear?

i thought I would have a satin dress... now I will be waering a lace dress!!!

Not really, but I am not surprised that I picked the one I did either. It is so me!

I did not do a ton of research on-line or in magazines. There was a few I had in mind, but I was not set in stone on anything.

I went in with an open mind and only tried on about 4 or 5 in total

Noooo...i thought for sure i'd have a huge princess ball gown.....didn't happen though ...its best to go dress shopping with an open mind

Yes. I though i wanted something simple, and my dress is! But I tried on lots of others jsut to make sure

oh no! I thought my dress would have a lot more beading on top and a completely different bottom part. That's probably why I love my dress so much, because it's better than I ever could have imagined!

i had my heart set on certain style and the bridal attendent showed me some others and i feel in love with something different

Mine is pretty similar to what I thought I'd get- I knew I wanted a ballgown, but initially I was trying on a lot of dresses with tulle skirts, and I ended up with an all satin ballgown. I love it!

My dress is not what i expected at all, I had thought I would wear something A Line simple, no beading, and a really long train.

What i boight is wicked poufy, no train and TONS of beading, but I LOVE it When I tried it on I just knew it was the dress for me!

Not at all. I always wanted a v-neck dress. I never thought I end up getting a strapless dress.

Not in the least.. I wanted a form fitting Sheath or Mermaid style dress and ended up in a dress that's a cross btwn A Line and Ball Gown

It's actually exactly what I envisioned myself wearing - it's a satin ballgown with lots of embroidery and beading...i can't wait to wear it!!!

yes and no. i always thought big gown with beading and more to it. initially when i started looking i described my dress to a t as to what i wanted. i soon forogot about that and looked at many other bead filled dresses. months later i saw my dress and knew right away it was the one. it is much much plainer than i ever thought i would get.

not at all... i went in thinking i wanted something very plain with cap sleeves - wound up getting strapless and pretty ornate.

Yes I know I wanted something similar but I was blown away when I tried mine on!! There is no better dress for me out there then the one I got! It fits my personality PERFECT!

Mine was different then what I planned, i thought i was going to have satin and I got organza and I thought it would be a ballgown and its a-line. Its really not what I thought at all. But I LOOOOOOVE it!!!

I wanted a very simple yet elegant satin dress. No frills, not poofy, with straps no beading or lace.

My dress is very poofy and strapless. It isn't satin and has a lot of beads and lace...

Go figure!

Not at all. Well the only thing that really changed was the shape of the dress. I knew I wanted silk satin and minimal beading.
