Im going to be taking a cruise this summer, for the first time* either to the Carribean or to Europe. I was told that I dont have to get on a plane and fly to somewhere else to get on the boat and that the boat leaves out of the NY harbor, is this true?
Has anyone taken a cruise that left from the NY harbor?
Are cruises scary? Is there alot of motion? Im sure there is a ton of things to do on it to pass the time...TIA!

I went on a cruise from NY last year. It was on the Carnival Miracle. We had such a great time and the water wasn't rough at all. It was 2 days at sea on the way there and 2 days at sea on the way back. We went to San Juan, St. Thomas and Tortola. I would definately recommend it.
