I got my hurricane vases from acmoore and they sit straight but when I put the pillar candle in they dont sit straight!!!!! I dont know if there is something I could do with the candle to make it sit straight but I am also adding the glass marbles to it as well and maybe those will make it sit right!! I am sooo upset right now. Can anyone help?? TIA

OMG!! I got the same ones!! LOL I was panicking that I would have to return 25 vases!! BUT my sister told me to try that sticky candle stuff that is supposed to hold them in place!! I just got it, I can let you know how I do with it. I will try it out tonight!!

I got it at AC Moore also. I hope it works!! I really don't want to have to return them all and start looking all over again!! LOL

I am using sand in mine and they are straight. Maybe i'll melt the bottom of the candle to the vase just to be safe.

Sorry could'nt figure out how to reduce the pic size!! LOL Anyway I am doing something like this but with pinks and I don't think I am going to use the mirror. I actually found this pic on here a while back!!

The sand probably holds them in place, nice and straight!! Very pretty!!

I am using these same vase and using 3x6 pillars and having 3x3 mini hurricnae vases around with the 3x3 pillar candles in them. I'll try to take a pic. I am also adding the glassmarble beads in them.

I hope these upload. This was my origianl idea but i know have the perfect sixe pillar candles that fit into the mini hurricane vase. They also have one that is bigger then this but smaller then the large 8 inch one. Theyare on sale at acmoore this week, just didnt see how much. The square ones i am putting the glass marbles inside and adding water and outting a head of a daisy in them.

Love the mini hurricanes!! Just an FYI that tall pillar candle is too tall for that hurricane, especially if you are adding anything into the bottom, it will be above the top of the holder and will drip

O h yes i am looking for the smaller ones, that was what I had in the house at the time,lol. Acmoore just never has the 3x6 when I go!!! I need them in cream.

How funny, all I see is cream/off white-the scent is vanilla i think. I'm looking for white which they never have unscented. Try Michaels, Target, Ebay.

I just saw the white unscented at the acmoore in garden city. I was thinking of getting them but i am waiting for the cream ones. They are 3.00 but with the 50% off coupon for today 1.50
